How to get here

Public Transport
​
Bus services to the prison are irregular. There are services to the village of Eastchurch, which is about one mile from the prison. Arriva Buses (0870 608 2608) leaving from Sheerness Station or Chalkwell (01795 423982) leaving from Sittingbourne and Sheerness both service the prison.

Car
​
From the M25:
​
A2/M2 towards Canterbury/Dover. Continue onto the M2 (signs for Dover/Channel Tunnel/Canterbury/Chatham). At junction 5, exit onto Maidstone Road/A249. Continue to follow the A249. At the roundabout take the second exit onto the A2500. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Lower Road/A2500. Continue at the roundabout and take the second exit onto Rowetts Way. Take the third exit onto Church Road and turn right for signs to H M Prisons.
From the M20:

Junction 7, take the A249 exit to Maidstone/Sittingbourne/Sheerness. At the roundabout take the third exit onto Sittingbourne Road/A249. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Lower Road/A2500. Continue at the roundabout and take the second exit onto Rowetts Way. Take the third exit onto Church Road and turn right for signs to H M Prisons.

Refreshments

A wide range of refreshments, including freshly produced and cooked hot meals and freshly made cakes, are available from Café Two66 located within the Family Centre.
